Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes you can sync the contacts stored on your iPhone with a Google account, allowing you to then re-sync the contacts from the account with the LG G Flex 2. This method requires a computer with iTunes installed and access to the Internet.

  1. Open iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
  3. Once connected, click the iPhone in iTunes to reveal the summary page
  4. From the "Info" tab, mark the "Sync Contacts With" check box
  5. Select "Google Contacts" from the drop-down menu
  6. Log in with your Google account, or alternatively click "Configure" and select an account from the list -assuming that you have previously added one already
  7. Click "Apply" to begin the syncing process
  8. Register the same Google account on the LG G Flex 2 and set it to sync contacts with your phone

Using iCloud:

NOTE: In case you have used the iCloud service on your iPhone before, your contacts should already be backed up on your iCloud account. Accessing your account using a computer with Internet access allows you to export these contacts for Android use.

  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Click "Contacts" and choose the contacts you wish to export

  6. Connect the LG G Flex 2 to your computer via USB and copy the vCard file to the phone's "sdcard" directory. Then, import the file's contents using the "Contacts" application

Using "My Contacts Backup":

NOTE: The methods described above both require access to a computer, but you can also transfer your contacts without needing one, through 3rd party apps. My Contacts Backup is a 3rd party app for iOS that allows you to back up the contacts on your iPhone in the form of a VCF file, which can then be transferred to another phone via email.

  1. Install "My Contacts Backup" on your iPhone from the App Store
  2. Launch the application and tap "Backup"
  3. Once the backup file is created, tap "Email" and compose a new email with the VCF file attached
  4. Send the email to your own Gmail address
  5. Switch to the LG G Flex 2, open the email and download the attached file
  6. Import the file's contents using the "Contacts" application

Using "Send Anywhere":

NOTE: Last but not least, you can use "Send Anywhere" to transfer your contacts cross platform without needing a computer. This is an app for both iOS and Android, and uses a P2P connection to transfer contacts and other types of files cross-platform.

  1. Launch the Play Store on the LG smartphone and install "Send Anywhere"
  2. Install the same app on the iPhone from the App Store
  3. Launch the application on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap "Send" > "Contacts"
  5. Select the contacts you wish to share and tap "Send"
  6. Choose a transfer method. You can tap "Generate QR Code" to create a QR code which can be scanned with the LG G Flex 2's camera to begin the transfer, or you can tap "Receive" on the LG and enter the randomly generated transfer code from the iPhone
