Via iTunes:

NOTE: In case you have iTunes installed on your computer you can use the software to sync contacts from your iPhone with your Google account. Afterwards you can resync the contacts from the account with your LG Leon.

  1. Launch iTunes on your computer
  2. Establish a USB connection between the iPhone and the PC
  3. After it connects, click the iPhone in iTunes
  4. Access the "Info" section from the summary page
  5. Click "Sync Contacts With" and select "Google Contacts"
  6. Register your Google account in iTunes, or alternatively click "Configure" and select an existing account from the menu
  7. Click "Apply" and wait for the syncing process to complete
  8. Once done, register your Google account on the LG Leon and allow it to sync contacts with your device

Via iCloud:

NOTE: If you have used the iCloud backup service before, your iPhone contacts should already be backed up on your account. By accessing it on a computer with Internet access you can export these contacts for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on your computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Access "Contacts" and select the contacts you want to export
  4. Click "Settings" > "Export vCard"
  5. Wait for the VCF file to be downloaded and import it to "Google Contacts"
  6. Alternatively, skip the previous step and instead: connect the LG Leon to your computer via USB, copy the file to the phone's "sdcard" directory, open "People", tap "Menu" > "import vCard file" and follow the on-screen prompts to import the VCF file's contents to your phonebook

Using "My Contacts Backup":

NOTE: If you are looking for a method of transferring contacts that doesn't require access to a computer, you can rely on third party apps to get the job done. My Contacts Backup is a third party iOS app that can back up and transfer contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install "My Contacts Backup" on the iPhone
  2. Open the application and tap "Backup"
  3. Once the file is created, tap "Email"
  4. Compose a new email with the vCard file attached to it
  5. Send the email to your own Gmail address
  6. Switch over to the LG Leon and open the email
  7. Download the attached file
  8. Open "People" and using the app's settings, import the vCard file to the phonebook

Using "Send Anywhere":

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app for both Android and iOS, which uses a P2P connection to transfer contacts and other types of files, cross platform and without needing access to a computer.

  1. Launch the App Store and install "Send Anywhere" on your iPhone
  2. From the Google Play Store install the same app on your LG device
  3. Open the application on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap "Send" > "Contacts"
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap "Send"
  6. Choose a contact transfer method. You can tap "Receive" on the LG Leon and manually enter the randomly generated transfer code from the iPhone. Alternatively, tap "Generate QR Code" on the iPhone and scan the resulting code with the LG Leon's camera to commence the transfer
