Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Establish a USB connection between the LG Volt 2 and your computer
  2. When prompted, tap “Media sync (MTP)”
  3. In the AutoPlay window on the computer click “Open device to view files”
  4. Launch a second Windows Explorer window and locate the desired audio files on your computer
  5. Cop the files and transfer them on your phone’s storage. Generally you should transfer ringtones in folders such as “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications”
  6. After the transfer is complete click “Safely Remove Hardware” in the system tray an “Safely Remove Mass Storage Device” > “OK”
  7. You can now safely disconnect the phone from the USB

Change the Phone’s Ringtone:

  1. Tap “Apps” and access “Settings”
  2. Tap “Sound”
  3. Go to “Ringtone” and select the desired audio file
  4. Tap “OK” to assign it

Change the Ringtone of a Single Contact:

  1. Open the “Contacts” app
  2. Select the contact you want to set a custom ringtone to
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to assign it

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. Go to the phone’s “Settings” menu
  2. Tap “Sound” > “Notification sound”
  3. Select the desired audio file to use for notifications
  4. Tap “OK” to assign it
