Via iTunes:

NOTE: If iTunes is installed on your computer (with Internet access) you can use the software to sync the contacts stored on your iPhone with a Google account. Then you can add the account on the LG G4 Beat and re-sync the contacts with it

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Establish a USB connection between the iPhone and PC
  3. After it connects, click the iPhone in iTunes to view the summary page
  4. Access the “Info” tab and enable “Sync Contacts With”
  5. From the drop-down menu select “Google Contacts”
  6. Log in with the Google account you want to use. Alternatively and if applicable, click “Configure” and select a previously added account from the list
  7. Click “Apply” and the sync will begin
  8. Finally, register the same Google account as the one used in iTunes on the LG G4 Beat, and allow it to sync contacts with your device

Via iCloud:

NOTE: If you’ve used the iCloud service on your iPhone before, your contacts should be backed up on the iCloud account. You can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Access “Contacts” and select the ones you want to transfer
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. Once the vCard file has been downloaded on the computer import it to “Google Contacts” or alternatively skip this step and instead:
  7. Connect the LG G4 Beat to your computer via USB and transfer the vCard file to its storage. Then open “Contacts” and use the “Import” option

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the two methods above require access to a computer with Internet, the following two guides rely on third party applications instead. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and transfer your iPhone contacts via email

  1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on your iPhone
  2. Open the application and tap “Backup”
  3. Tap “Email” and attach the VCF file to a new email
  4. Send the email to your own Gmail address
  5. Switch to the LG G4 Beat and open the email, then download the attached vCard file
  6. Open “Contacts” and use the “Import” function to add the vCard’s contents to your phonebook

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Last but not least, Send Anywhere is a third party app for both iOS and Android, capable of transferring files over a P2P connection, even cross-platform.

  1. Open the Google Play Store and install Send Anywhere on the LG G4 Beat
  2. Install the same application on the iPhone from the App Store
  3. Launch the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Choose the contacts you want to share and tap “Send”
  6. Select a method of sharing. Tapping “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone allows you to start the transfer by scanning the code with the LG G4 Beat’s camera. You can also tap “Receive” on the LG device and manually enter the transfer code generated on the iPhone
