Clear App Cache / Data:
NOTE: If one of your apps doesnt work as it should or occupies too much space, you might be able to fix these issues by clearing the applications cache / data.
WARNING! Clearing an apps data will remove all of your personal information stored within the app, including login and credit card information, profiles, high scores etc. As such, try solving the issues by clearing the apps cache first.
- Open the apps drawer
- Go to Settings
- Tap the General tab
- Tap Apps under Phone Management
- Swipe to All and choose the desired app
- Tap Clear cache, and if necessary, tap Clear data > Yes
Clear Cache Partition:
NOTE: If your phone doesnt work as intended and youre considering applying a factory reset, you should first try clearing the issues by wiping the cache. This can have similar results as a factory reset, without losing any of your personal data.
- Tap Apps and go to Settings
- Tap the General tab
- Scroll to Phone Management
- Tap Storage and wait for the phone to calculate the data
- Scroll to and tap Cached data
- Tap yes to clear the cache

Reboot in Safe Mode and Uninstall an Application:
NOTE: If youve installed a third party app that causes problems on your device and prevents you from uninstalling it, you should be able to remove the app by rebooting your phone in Safe Mode. In this mode all third party apps are disabled.
- Press and hold Power while the screen is turned on
- In the phone options pop-up, tap and hold Power off
- When prompted to Restart in Safe Mode, tap OK
- After the phone reboots, a Safe Mode label should be displayed in the lower-left corner of the screen
- Open Settings
- Go to the General tab and scroll to Phone Management
- Tap Apps and swipe to Downloaded
- Select the desired app and tap Uninstall > OK
- To exit safe mode, press & hold Power, then tap Power off and restart
