Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC to Use as Ringtones / Notifications:
- First, connect the LG K10 to your computer using the USB cable
- Next, drag the Status bar down on the phones home screen, and ensure Media sync (MTP) is enabled
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Use the Explorer to browse the PC storage for the desired audio files
- Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the Notifications / Ringtones folders
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch the apps drawer
- Go to Settings
- Tap the Sound & Notification tab and go to Ringtone
- Select the ringtone you want to use and tap OK
Customize a Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones to contacts stored on the SIM card or the devices internal memory.
- Launch Contacts
- Select the contact you wish to set a custom ringtone to
- Tap Edit > Ringtone
- Select a ringtone and tap OK to confirm
Change the Notification Sound:
- Open the Settings menu
- Scroll to and tap Sound & notification
- Swipe to Advanced settings and tap More
- Tap Notification sound
- Select the notification sound you want to use
- Tap OK
