Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

  1. Connect the LG K7 to your computer via USB
  2. On the home screen, swipe the “Status” bar down and enable “Media sync (MTP)” / “Media device”
  3. On the computer, open the File Explorer
  4. Navigate to the desired audio files on your computer
  5. Copy the files and transfer the on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” directories
  6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB

Change the Phone Ringtone:

  1. Open the phone’s “Settings” menu
  2. Tap “Sound & Notification”
  3. Tap “Ringtone”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm

Set a Custom Ringtone to a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set to contacts stored on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.

  1. Open the “Contacts” application
  2. Tap the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Ringtone”
  4. From the drop-down, select the desired ringtone
  5. Tap “OK” to confirm

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. Go to the phone’s “Settings” menu
  2. Tap “Sound & notification”
  3. Swipe to “Advanced settings”
  4. Tap “More” > “Notification sound”
  5. Select the desired notification sound
  6. Tap “OK” to confirm
