Clear App Cache / Data:
NOTE: Assuming one of your third party apps doesnt work as intended or takes up too much storage, you can try fixing these issues by clearing the apps cache / data.
WARNING! When clearing an apps data, your personal information stored within the application (such as saved games, profiles, high scores, settings, login and credit card information etc.) will be deleted. To avoid this, try fixing the app by clearing the cache only.
- Open the apps drawer
- Go to Settings
- If necessary, tap the General tab
- Scroll to Phone Management and tap Apps
- Go to the All or Downloaded screen
- Select the desired app and tap Clear cache
- If clearing the cache didnt help, tap Clear data > Yes
Clear the Phones Cache Partition:
NOTE: If your phone crashes, freezes, or runs out of storage inexplicably, you can try fixing these problems by clearing the phones cache. This can have similar effects as a factory reset, without losing any of your personal data on the internal memory.
- Open the phones Settings menu
- If necessary, go to the General tab
- Scroll to Phone Management and tap Storage
- Wait for the device to finish calculating data
- Tap Clear data
- Tap Yes to confirm

Reboot in Safe Mode to Remove an App:
NOTE: In case youve installed a third party application that causes issues and prevents you from removing it, you should be able to uninstall the app from within Safe Mode. In this mode all third party apps are disabled.
- If necessary, wake up the screen
- Press and hold the Power button
- From the power management pop-up, tap and hold Power off
- At the Restart in safe mode prompt, tap OK to confirm. (NOTE: Once the phone restarts, a Safe Mode label should be visible in the lower-left corner of the screen)
- Once in Safe Mode, go to Settings
- Access the General tab if necessary
- Scroll to Phone management and tap Apps
- Access the Downloaded section
- Select the desired application and tap Uninstall > OK
- To exit safe mode, simply press and hold Power and restart your phone as you normally would
