Sync iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then, you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the LG X Screen.

  1. On the computer, open iTunes
  2. Connect the iPhone to your computer using the Lightning cable
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes and go to the “Info” section
  4. Turn on “Sync Contacts With”
  5. From the drop-down menu, select “Google Contacts”
  6. If necessary, sign in with your Google account. Alternatively, you can click “Configure” and select an existing account
  7. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  8. Once the sync is complete, switch to the LG X Screen and register the same Google account used in iTunes
  9. Allow the account to sync contacts

Export iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case the contacts on your iPhone have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and access “Contacts”
  4. Select the contacts you want to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. After the vCard file has been downloaded on the computer, you can perform one of the following steps:
    • Import the file to “Google Contacts” or
    • Connect the LG X Screen to your computer via USB, copy the vCard to the phone storage, and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: The transfer methods above require computer access and an active Internet connection. Alternatively, you can also transfer your contacts without a computer, using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and transfer contacts via email.

  1. Open the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on your iPhone
  2. After you have installed the application, open it
  3. Tap “Backup” and wait for the vCard file to be created
  4. Once done, tap “Email”
  5. Compose a new email and make sure the vCard is attached
  6. Send the email to your own address, then switch to the LG X Screen
  7. Open the email on the LG, download the vCard file, and import its contents using “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use for transferring contacts without a computer. The app is available on Android and iOS, and uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types, cross-platform.

  1. Open the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Go to the Google Play Store and install the same app on the LG X Screen
  3. Launch the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the contacts you want to share and tap “Send”
  6. Select the desired transfer method. For instance, you can tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan the code with the LG phone’s camera, or tap “Receive” on the LG device and manually enter the transfer code generated on the iPhone
