Back Up App Data:
- Launch Settings
- Go to the General tab if necessary
- Tap Backup & Reset
- Tap the slider to enable Back up my data
Back Up Contacts:
- Open Settings and access General if necessary
- Tap Backup & reset > LG Backup
- Tap Save and restore > LG Backup
- Tap Save and restore > Back up data
- Select Internal storage or SD Card under Back up to
- Tap Personal data > Start > OK
- Once the process is complete, tap Done
Back Up Media Files Using the Phone:
- Launch Settings
- Access the General tab
- Tap Backup & reset > LG Backup
- Tap Back up data > Save & restore
- Select Media data (internal storage) and deselect the non-media options
- Expand the Media data directory and select the desired media files
- Tap Start > OK
- Once the process is complete, tap Done
Back Up Media Files On a Windows PC:
- Connect the LG device to your computer via USB
- Enable Media device / File Transfer at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Navigate to, and select the desired media files or .sbf backup files on the phone storage
- Copy the files and transfer them in the desired backup location on the computer storage
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
Restore App Data and Media Files:
- Launch Settings
- If necessary, go to the General tab
- Tap Backup & reset > LG Backup
- Tap Save and restore > Restore from backup
- Select the desired backup file and tap Start > OK
- After the restore is complete, tap Done to confirm and wait for the phone to reboot
Restore Contacts:
- Open Settings
- Access the General tab
- Tap Backup & reset
- Go to LG Backup and tap Save and restore
- Tap Restore from backup and locate and select the desired contact backup file(s)
- Tap Start > OK
- Once completed, tap Done and wait for the phone to reboot
Restore Media Files form a Windows Computer:
- Connect the LG K10 to your computer via USB
- Enable Media sync / File Transfer when prompted or from the Notification area
- Switch to the computer and launch the File Explorer
- Use the Explorer to locate and copy the desired media backup files
- Transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the Media directory or the folder(s) they originate from
- After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and you can safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

Back up apps

When 'Back up completed' displays, tap Done.
Back up contacts to SD card
Drag down the notification bar and tap the Settings icon at the top-right.
Tap General > Backup & reset. (If using List view, scroll down to 'PERSONAL,' then tap Backup & reset.)
Tap LG Backup > Backup & restore.
Tap Back data and check that 'SD Card' is selected.
Select the items you wish to backup.
Tap Start to begin the backup. This may take several minutes.
When 'Backup completed' displays, tap Done.
Back up media & pictures
From phone
Drag down the notification bar and tap the Settings icon at the top-right.
Tap General > Backup & reset. (If using List view, scroll down to 'PERSONAL,' then tap Backup & reset.)
Tap LG Backup > Backup & restore.
Select Media data. Deselect the non-media options.
Expand the Media data folder and make desired selections.
Tap Start to begin the backup. This may take several minutes.
When Back up completed displays, tap Done.
From computer - PC
Connect your phone to a PC using the MicroUSB cable attached to your LG charger.
If prompted, select Media sync (MTP).
On the PC, open My computer.
Right-click the backup file (ending with .sbf) and select Copy.
Right-click location to save backup file to on computer.
Paste the backup file to the PC.
Restore apps

Tap General > Backup & reset. (If using List view, scroll down to 'PERSONAL,' then tap Backup & reset.)
Under 'LG BACKUP, tap Restore from backup.
Locate and tap the contacts backup.
