Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android device.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes and go to “Info
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With”
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  7. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  8. Once the process is done, switch to the Android phone and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
  9. Set the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with your account on a computer with an Internet connection and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Go to “Contacts” and select the desired contact
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. After the vCard is downloaded, follow one of the two steps below:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
    • Connect the phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import its contents to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard containing your iPhone contacts
  3. Once done, use the app to compose an email containing the vCard attachment
  4. Send the attachment to your own email address
  5. On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another Android and iOS third-party app that can share contacts without computer access. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other types of files, cross-platform, without requiring a computer.

  1. Go to the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
  2. Visit the Play Store and install the same app on the LG phone
  3. Open the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Select the desired transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
