NOTE: You can check this thread for a guide on how to back up app data, contacts, and media.
Restore App Data:
- Open Settings
- Go to Phone management and tap Backup & reset
- Tap Restore from backup
- Select the backup file you want to restore
- Tap Start > Done
NOTE: You may have to reboot the device in order to complete the restore.
Restore Contacts:
- Launch Settings
- Go to Phone management
- Tap Backup & reset
- Under LG Backup tap Restore from backup
- Select the desired backup and tap Start
- At the Restored prompt, tap Done and wait for the device to reboot and complete the process
Restore Media Files:
- Launch Settings and go to Phone management
- Tap Backup & reset > Restore from backup
- Select the media file backups you want to restore
- Tap Start
- At the Restore completed prompt tap Restart
Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the LG device to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable Media sync / File Transfer at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate and copy the media file backups from the PC
- Paste the files to the phone storage, preferably in the folders of origin
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
