Back Up App Data:
- Launch Settings
- Go to Phone Management
- Tap Backup & Reset > Google Backup
- Enable Back up my data
Back Up Contacts to an LG Account:
- Open Settings
- Access Phone Management
- Tap Backup & Reset
- Tap LG Backup > Backup & Restore
- Access Back up my data
- Log in with your LG account
- Select Personal data while deselecting the other options
- Expand Personal data and ensure Contacts is checked
- Tap Start > Done
Back Up Contacts to SD Storage:
- Launch Settings
- Tap Backup & Reset under Phone Management
- Tap LG Backup & Restore
- Tap Backup data
- Select SD card and the desired contacts
- When ready, tap Start > Done
Back Up Media Files:
- Open Settings
- Under Phone Management tap Backup & Reset
- Tap LG Backup > Backup & Restore
- Select Media data while deselecting the other options
- Expand Media data
- Select the media files you want to back up then tap Start > Done
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable File Transfer / Media device at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the media files or the backup files ending with the .sbf extension on the phone storage
- Copy and paste the files to the desired backup location on the computer
- After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
