NOTE: You can check this thread for a guide on how to back up data on the device.

Restore App Data:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to “Phone Management” > “Backup & Reset”
  3. Tap “Restore from backup”
  4. Select the desired backup file and tap “Start”
  5. Tap “Done”

NOTE: you might need to reboot the phone to complete the restore.

Restore Contacts:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Access “Phone Management”
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset”
  4. Sunder “LG Backup” and select “Restore from backup”
  5. Tap the desired backup file and tap “Start”
  6. At the “Restored” prompt tap “Done”

Restore Media Files:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Access “Phone Management”
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset” > “Restore from backup”
  4. Select the desired media files to restore
  5. Tap “Start” > “Restart”

Restore Media Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Locate the media backup files on the computer
  5. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the folders of origin
  6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the PC
