NOTE: You can visit this thread for instructions on how to back up data on the phone.

Restore App Data:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Access “Phone Management”
  3. Tap “Backup & Reset”
  4. Tap “Restore from backup” and select the desired backup file
  5. Tap “Start” > “Done”

NOTE: You might have to reboot the device to complete the process.

Restore Contacts:

  1. Open “Settings” and access “Phone Management”
  2. Tap “Backup & Reset”
  3. Under “LG Backup” select “Restore from backup”
  4. Select the desired backup file and tap “Start” > “Done”

Restore Media Files:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to “Phone Management” and tap “Backup & reset”
  3. Tap “Restore from backup”
  4. Select the desired media files then tap “Start” > “Restart”

Restore Media Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification shade
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC and locate the media backup files on the computer storage
  4. Transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the folders from where they originate
  5. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
