Re: Droid Programming Menu
OOOOH...I would suggest not providing this information....
Also, every time this information is accessed, it is logged in the phone's logging system (also accessible from this menu) so Verizon will know if you're playing around.
ALSO, do not mess with anything in this menu unless you are 100% tech savvy.

Re: Droid Programming Menu
There are two OTA software upgrades currently scheduled for the Motorola Droid, nether of which are currently set to make any changes to the omission of the"pinch to zoom" feature on the Motorola Droid. I assume this is what is meant when referring to the multi-touch in these posts, as the Motorola Droid does currently support multi-touch and simply omits the pinch to zoom feature that utilizes this.
I believe if you boot up with the "T" key held down with a USB cable attached you will enter the mode your looking for, but you may require some special software in order to take advantage of this mode.
You may also care to know:
Holding down X at boot, then hitting volume up and camera key at the same time will allow you to to a full factory reset, apply sdcard:update.zip, or wipe the cache.
Holding down the menu key (on the physical keyboard) and powering on the device will boot it into "safe mode"
Not true. However, as suggest by others it is not recommended unless you know what you are doing. Changing settings in the menu can have major negative impact on the Motorola Droid performance and operation. But all of them may reversed with th full factory reset through the menu or at boot as listed above.Last edited by thomwithah; 11-20-2009 at 11:59 AM. Reason: Typo L for K in take....
