v300 on screen text problem

Is there any way to move or get rid of that god forsaken T-Mobile logo and date at the top of the screen?

It messes up all the wallpapers i've tried to make. I know you can move it to the center, but thats hardly solving the problem... it actually looks worse.

sorry matt I've tried everything and nothing seems to work I know that there are some programs that will let you do this with a cable but as to what they are I'm not sure I roam around the forumes so I'll keep my eyes peeled
