Howdy all. Friend of mine at work is getting a solar powered battery charger for her laptop to take with her into the field when she goes with one of the larger world relief volunteer organizations (name escapes me at the moment) so the idea struck me. If at all possible I'd like to find a solar powered battery charger that could somehow be used to charge my motorola cell phone (older I-90 model I think. Bit yellow and black rubber guarded thing construction workers used) and possibly my Samsung MP3 player (gotta have tunes for those long, boring hikes through the woods. hehe) too. One with adjustable current settings and changable adapters to acomidate that would be awesome. Any pointers or info would be helpful.

HAHAHA. I just got word where we're camping and it turns out that we won't be taking our phones after all. Apparently no phone provider has service on the island ANYWHERE. The closest zone of coverage is over 30 miles away. Sooooooo.....guess this is a moot point for the time being. hehe. Oh well.
