    Hi so my parents recently got me and my sister a phone. They are both motorola republic XT 557.So the problem is hers can use internet without WiFi and mine can't. my parents say they are paying for it and it says data is enabled in the settings.

    ​It's getting very old even when it has 5 bars I can't even use Google. Please help me!

    Do you mean a Defy on Republic wireless?

    try going to settings > data manager > data delivery >. Is data enabled?

    The XT557 is the Motorola Defy.

    I would call your service provider and ask what is going on with the data for that line. It's possible that it's not enabled even though someone thinks it is.
