Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Moto G Turbo Edition to your computer via USB
- Swipe the Notification bar down and make sure the phone is connected as a Media device (MTP)
- Launch an Explorer window on the computer and locate the desired audio files on your PC
- Copy the files you want to use for ringtones & notifications
- Transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones / Notifications / Alarms folders in the Media directory
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via the system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB connector
Change the Phone Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch Settings and scroll to Device
- Tap Sound
- Under Call Ringtone & Vibrate, tap Phone ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
- Optionally, you can enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones to contacts stored on the SIM card or the phones internal memory.
- Launch Contacts and select the desired contact
- Tap Edit > Menu
- Tap Set ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
Change the Notification Sound:
- Tap Apps on the home screen
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to Device and tap Sound & notification
- Under Sound, tap Default Notification Sound
- Select a notification sound and tap OK to confirm and set it
