Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android device.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  2. Launch iTunes on the computer
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With”
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  7. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  8. Once the sync is done, sign in with the same account on the Android phone
  9. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Go to “Contacts”
  5. Select the contacts you want to share and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. Once the vCard is downloaded, perform one of the following steps:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
    • Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import its contents to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone via the App Store
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup”. This will create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Once done, compose a new email and attach the vCard
  4. Send the attachment to your own email address
  5. Switch to the Android device and download the email attachment
  6. Import the vCard attachment to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use, available on iOS and Android. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring access to a computer.

  1. Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
  2. Go to the Play Store and install the same app on the Android phone
  3. Launch the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap “send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the contacts you want to share
  6. Tap “Send”
  7. Lastly select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen prompts
