Actually there is no change is the files... If you connect directly to the internet with the T720, and download a midi file which isn't that large... it automatically downloads it.... so practically you can download a midi file for a ringtone for your T720

dont think it matters and 8kb could play a fairly big sized ringtone

http://muwap.us is a great site designed strictly for the T720, T721, T722, and T730 phones for free ringtones and wallpaper.

On your phone go to: Go 2 URL and enter http://muwap.us and you can browse download the stuff for free.

Go to fone files down the left hand side to see what they have to offer - all free of course, and go to the site via ur mobile wap!

i've uploaded midi files larger than 8k to my motorola t720 before and they've worked..... but they caused some problems. seemed like the phone would 'stall' when trying to play midis that were too large. to solve the problem i'd end up just using a midi editor to shorten the midis to around 20 seconds in length.

Hi, I created muwap.us and always like to see it mentioned across the 'net. Glad you guys like the site. I'd just like to add that the site is not stricly for the Moto T72x phones, but many users of many other phones -- including most Nokias -- have reported success in using the site. And just wait for the stuff I have in store next... major improvements to the site are done and being tested at the time.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

In their spec-sheet, Motorola recommends files not be larger than 12k and they suggest 7k as a practical maximum. That said, I've been able to download and play files over 30k
