    Re: im new here

Hello I am new here as well and have a question. I am on a family plan with my parents and brother. I am available for an upgrade on the 12th of February and MY plan ends in June. However I have had enough of verizon and am planning on just paying the $175 cancellation fee so I can go get my iPhone.

Any other suggestions?????? Another way out or no???

well u could try to find an area in the US other then where you live that is a dead zone or an area where Verizon does not service or have service and tell the Verizon worker over the phone that you have been promoted to a manager position at some company 'X' and that you must move to that area (that we looked up before with no service), and that you did the research and found that your cellular device would have either bad service or no service and that as a manager having a cellular device with service is paramount. therefore since it is not by your choice or by your doing that you are moving out there it is because that is where your company is sending you and your family. and you would rather move then lose your job. ask if you will have to pay the termination fee if your moving out there in the next few months? and they say yes, make the argument that it is not by your choice and its not your fault that Verizon service doesn't service the area you are moving to , and that you feel you should not have to pay the termination fee.

talk your argument up, just use general social engineering skills on this one. if you sound convincing enough or if you get the right customer service worker on the phone then you might very likely succeed in your exploit, otherwise dude just wait it out, your iphone will still be out there, i don't see apple discontinuing it anytime soon.

    i hope that helps you....
