Hi,
I have a AT&T Sony Ericsson Xperia x10a, that I unlocked so I could use it with my T-mobile SIMS card.
The plan I have with T-mobile, is a "pay as you go" $30.00 a month, talk, text and bare bones minimum data plan.
My Question:
How can I unlock, or enable the wifi on my phone so that I can use wifi anywhere I go, regardless of who my cell carrier is?
in adidition, is it possible to enable my phone to be a hotspot, without downloading an ap that will do that?
I appreciate your tech. input and help.
Thank you.

Re: need Tech. help with tmobile wifi
You should be able to connect to other WiFi networks without a problem.
If you want to get Internet on the go, you should have a better data plan, not the minimum, especially if you want to make your phone a WiFi hotspot. You can use data quickly when connecting a laptop or another device to your phone to share the Internet connection.
