not even sur where to start

hi everyone!
just registered and i don't even know where to begin looking for a solution to my question. so? i thought i'd start here! can anyone tell me where to post a question regarding how to get into an LG cell phone that i don't have the password to? i know this seems a bit odd, but i have already called LG for help, and they said there was nothing they could do. i know some techie out here has an answer.
i am open to any suggestions as to who to ask or where to post my querie.
