Is this possible?

I have a boost phone that is unlocked because it's pre-ROM 9. Can I take the unlocked i730 and backup the software and load it over a ROM 9 phone to unlock the ROM 9 phone? Sorta like flashing the bios of the newer phones with an older version to get around the double lock? I'm not sure how the double lock works, but I am sure the new i730 phones I have are double locked because I unlocked the older I730 like 6 months ago and the same procedure does not work on the new ones. I dont think it would cause any issues with the phone because they're all the same model.

thats a good question, you can try it but make sure you backup all your stuff first.
