3100 flashing tones

hi is there a good place to download tones that flash in time with the notes for 3100 or is there even software to convert normal midis to do this

Flash? I've heard of flashing ringtones on Samsung phones (the LED flashes), but not on Nokia phones. The Samsung phones use mmf files while Nokia's use mid.

yeah its very possible. the ones included with the nokia 3100 flash with the tones, but ones that are downloaded by most sites don't do this. i think it is a diff. kind of file because when i view them on nokia PC suite, they don't appear with a windows media player icon next to them. they have some wierd symbol like it doesn't recognize them

Are those SP-MIDI by any chance? Then, you'll be able to use the Nokia MIDI convertor, and do the proper conversions.

not sure, but does that come with the nokia pc suite? i'm not exactly familiar with that program.

Yes. The software comes with the Nokia PC Suite.

I have the nokia 3100 also, I used the dku-5 cable to transfer midi files to the phone from this website, and they all seem to flash to the rhythm when someone calls me.

yeah, but thats not the issue. they flash but its the same pulsing three times over and over again, not with the song, as you may notice in your preprogrammed nokia ringtones.
