WAP over GPRS usually costs a set amount per KB downloaded. It shouldn't be too much... You should contact your service carrier to find out exactly how much and whether or not you are willing to pay this. Enabling it is usually pretty easy - they will tell you what to do.

If you don't want to pay, you can copy ringtones to you phone using the infrared port and your computer with Nokia PC Suite installed. However, you need an infrared port on your comp. Most laptops have this. Otherwise you will have to purchase a datacable or you can also use bluetooth but you will most likely not have this.

There is a way to do that, without using your mobile.

    Go to http://www.tagtag.com

They have an excellent web based wap browser. Scroll to the bottom of the page and type in the address of the wap site into the "TT emulator". Click [go].

Now navigate to the ringtone you want. When you download it using the wap browser you can just save it to your laptop and then copy it over like normal. And this way you don't have to pay for browsing wap site on your mobile!

ha ha, i can't tell you which to use...

using the wap emulator is free but you need your laptop and its a longer process...

using wap on your phone costs but you can do it anywhere...

you can always enable wap, and try it out. you don't have to use it all the time. with my carrier it was free to enable it, so you have nothing to loose if its the same with yours.

i don't know the difference between tmobile and o2. but if you bought your phone on a contract with o2, i assume you have the pay them every month whether or not you use the sim. i also assume your tmobile contract has ended, so why have 2 bills?! you should just stick to the one you have a new contract with.
