Help wanted from anyone with tech-knowledge or has experienced the following:
Our 3310 suddenly changed it's mind, after working faultlessly for about a year. Now it gives a low-batt-beep after only a few seconds into a call and then turns itself off completely.
We tried a salesman's advise by installing a new battery and charging it for at least 24 hours, but to no avail.
To me it reeks of a software-glitch, but I'm not sure.

Anyone with ideas on a fix, please respond either by posting a reply or by personal message.

Any help is seriously appreciated.
