I was wondering how do I set up an internet connection using a Nokia 6800. Do I have to subsribe to a seperate T-Mobile service to access the internet using my phone or will the GPRS in t-zones is enough to get me online?
I have already configured the GPRS access point in my phone but i'm having trouble configuring the connection on my comp. Any help or links that will answer my question will be appreciated.
Thanks

Are you trying to connect your laptop to the internet when you can't find a landline, or is this a desktop pc ?

you need to subscribe to Tmobile GPRS service or VPN internet access. This will allow you to use your nokia 6800 as a modem. Ofcourse im assuming you have the data cable. And it is actually a $19.99 monthly fee for unlimited access. It will give you pretty much dial up anywhere on the tmobile network.

Is that a dial up connection or a digital gprs connection?

sorry I have not visited this forum lately but I did figure out how to use the 6800 as a modem. I did a free trial with MSN dial up and basically used the 6800 to dial up to log on. I DON'T RECOMMEND DIALING UP TO THE NET USING THE 6800!!! 9.6 kbps is too damn slow!!! That last sentence should pretty much sum it all up.
