Does anybody out there know how to deal with these people. Recieved new Net 10/Nokia 1100 for gift. Love the phone. Works great. One problem....Whenever I leave my home area code I CANNOT RECIEVE any incoming calls. Callers get "Call can not be completed as dialed". I can call out/no one can call me. I have contacted Net 10 Serv. Center about a dozen times and have gotten about a dozen sets of instructions on what "I" can do to fix the problem. Then it's "wait and see" whenever I leave home. I have done my best to follow their instructions (thick acents) but nothing has worked so far. Sorry, I ramble, but otherwise I really like the phone. I'm new at this and I really need some advise. Refund to Walmart and Run to Cingular?

NET10 is a new company. They probably have no experience with costumer service satisfaction. You could try going to an authorized dealer of Net10 in your area.

    Net10 isn't new... it's a spin off from TRACFONE.

Check out the bottom of their homepage...

FINALLY.....Success. After 3 weeks of frustration all it took was talking to the right person. On a trip with same phone problem. Called Customer Serv. Rep gave me a string of # codes and POW ...it works. I think you get better response from using their online help/support to inititate a problem vs calling. Now if I can figure out how to blow away the 200 messages in my voice mail....As the lady said.." It's always something". Thanks for your input!!!!

Have been paying 30.00 per month for 300 min. since may '05. But for previous problem, I had no problems. Can load phone on-line or from phone( real busy on sat. nites, wait 'till another time) Great basic features .... no catch......wouldn't trade my phone with anyone. Actually had to use the flashlight feature once in an emergency-no one else had a phone with a flashlight feature.......Hah! who knew...Coach

After having run over my TracFone (no joke!!) I decided to purchase a Net 10 Wireless phone for the obvious reason: MINUTES ARE LOTS CHEAPER. Because I had been using TracFone (and thus the phone number) for years I decided to port my number from Tracfone to Net10. Great idea, but it took almost 2 weeks and would've taken longer if I hadn't made several calls to customer service (VERY heavy accents) and FINALLY gotten a customer service supervisor to help me (after putting me on "hold" several times). The experience almost made me want to take the phone back to K-Mart and go back to TracFone. As far as service goes, I have never had a problem making or receiveing calls anywhere with the Tracfone (a Nokia 1100) success remains to be seen with Net10. Cingular is the service provider for both phones in my case, so I anticipate no problems.
