Nokia 8110 Sim Card Issue- Please Help

I have just purchased this phone off of ebay and i cant get it to accept my sim card. Iv tried entering the unlocking codes, but it says "Sim never Restricted." But everytime i put my sim card back in it says "Card Rejected"

Also, ur codes might not work because the previous owner might have tried unlockin the phone 5 times. Once u have tried unlockin ur phone after 5 times, the phone will not unlock and the only solution after that is a cable. I have no idea how the cable works.

Umm could be becase the phone doesn't work on the same band that your simcard is for. Not sure bout your network but it may be 850 mhz which means a phone bourght in another country may not be compatible because no one else uses that frequence range.
