    Hey guys,

I'm in Canada (so the 1900 band) but I'm going to poland for a few weeks soon and i wanted to pick up a cellphone there. Unfortunately, the one I have my eye on, the Nokia 2652, is dual-band 900/1800.

SO my question is, is it in any way at all possible, (either doing it myself or paying someone to do it) to change the GSM frequency of this phone?

    Thanks!!

What? Changing the hardware on a cell phone isn't the same as changing on a pc...oh, and the answer is no.

they do this when i was in the philippines. nokia 3390 1900mhz (u.s. and canada) convert to 3310 900-1800mhz (asia, europe) nokia 6800 1900mhz convert to 6800i but when i look i them they take the phone apart and using a needle point soldering iron. i think you have to be a pro to do this thing.

Even if somehow, you will do it sucessfully, the phone wont function as it should. IMHO do not try to tamper with the manufacterers default circuit board.
