    I have a Nokia N75 and wanted to get more memory for it. My friend gave me his 256mb kingmax micro sd card, which he tested in a Motorola (slvr I think). When I put the card into my phone and go to settings => memory, it says that there is no memory card inserted. I've tried turning the phone on and off multiple times - didnt help. I am 99% sure the card is in the right way... it seems like there is only one plausible way for it to go it lol. Any ideas? Maybe I have to reformat it, since it came from a motorola? Thanks!

    Edit: Just put the card into a RAZR. The phone saw the card but couldnt format it. We then connected the phone to a computer - nothing showed up under My Computer. We went through some sort of motorola program and found a folder for the card but couldnt open it.

    Try this:
    Make sure the csrd is not locked, then
    phone off;
    put card in;
    phone on;
    format card.

    The other option which can be used is just insert the card in a card reader or a laptop and try formatting it . Even I had the same problem but now the problem is resolved and it works fine.
