HI...
I just acquired a Nokia 2610, on a AT&T GoPhone plan. It's the first cell I've had in years. I downloaded the Nokia PC Suite and bought a data cable. But the software does not recognize the phone.
During the "connect a phone" sequence it warns to make sure the phone is not "securely locked". I'm not sure what this means. Could someone explain please?
Also I can't figure out how to access the speakerphone or headphone feature.
Thanks.

Are you sure you have the data line to buy the wrong?

Re: Nokia 2610 - can't connect to pc
According to the seller, it does. However the box is marked MK-6030/6061.

Update: I found a post on the Nokia forum by a user who says this same cable worked fine on his 2610.
I'd still like to know what the term "securily locked" means, as opposed to simply "locked".Last edited by kenb123; 01-16-2008 at 10:19 PM.
