Nokia 7230 Text messaging problem

I am getting a Text messaging problem on my Nokia 7230?
I dropped my phone a couple of days back and since then there is a text messaging problem on my nokia 7230. I can send 4 to 5 messages and then the messages sent there after get failed. I can then resend them only after switching off and switching on the phone again. Incoming messages come as a bulk with 9 - 10 messages all together. I contacted my service provider and there is no problem apparently. Please help me!
