How to transfer messages and contacts Nokia 5300?

Hi,
I have purchased a new HTC mobile. I've been using Nokia 5300 Xpressmusic since 4 years. There are many contacts and important messages in this phone. I want to transfer all these messages and contacts to new Htc mobile. I have tried many things like nokia pc suite, pim backup but nothing is helping me out!!!
Nokia 5300 does not give me any option for transferring messages from phone memory to memory card!

Please give me suggestions. Really need your help as i'm yet not able to use my new phone!!!

try going into your message settings and changing the default message saving memory to memory card. When you do this, it should then ask you if you want all already stored messages moved to the card card too.
As for contacts, you can look in your phone book options. If u r using the same Sim card then copy the contacts to the Sim. You should also have an option to copy them to the memory card too.
