Share iPhone Contacts with Google via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Nokia 6.

  1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the computer and access the “Info” section
  3. Enable “Sync Contacts With”
  4. From the drop-down menu, select “Google Contacts”
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync. Once the sync is done, switch to the Nokia 6 and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
  7. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts have been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Go to https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Go to “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  4. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. After the vCard has been downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the Nokia 6 to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import it

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup”
  3. Once the backup file is done, tap “Email”
  4. Compose a new email and ensure the vCard is attached
  5. Send the email and vCard to your own email address
  6. Switch to the Nokia 6, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  7. Import the vCard to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use for transferring contacts is Send Anywhere. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types without requiring a computer.

  1. Launch the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Open the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Nokia 6
  3. Open the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Select the desired transfer method, such as “Generate QR Code” or “Receive”, and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
