Share iPhone Contacts with Google Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. Afterward you can sync the account data, including contacts, with your Nokia 5.

    1. Connect your iPhone to your computer via USB
    2. Launch iTunes on the computer
    3. Go to the “Info” section and enable “Sync Contacts With”
    4. From the drop-down menu, select “Google Contacts”
    5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
    6. Click “Apply” to start the sync. After the sync is done, switch to the Nokia 5 and register the same Google account used in iTunes
    7. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Nokia 5

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have been backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in to your account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

    1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
    2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
    3. Access “Contacts”
    4. Select the desired contacts
    5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
    6. Once the vCard has been downloaded, follow the steps below:
      • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
      • Connect the Nokia 5 to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it via “Contacts”

    Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

    1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
    2. Launch the app and tap “Backup”
    3. After the backup file is done, tap “Email”
    4. Compose a new email and make sure the vCard is attached
    5. Send the email to your own address
    6. Switch to the Nokia 5, open the email, and download the vCard attachment
    7. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts”

    Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party application you can use is Send Anywhere, available on iOS and Android. The app uses a p2p connection to share your iPhone contacts and other file types cross-platform without requiring a computer.

    1. Open the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
    2. Launch the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Nokia 5
    3. Launch the app on both smartphones
    4. Tap “Send” > “Contacts” on the iPhone
    5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
    6. Select the desired transfer method, like “Receive” or “Generate QR Code” and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process

Re: Transfer iPhone Contacts to a Nokia 5

I just bought this phone and I am in a similar situation. I want to transfer my contacts from my iPhone to my new Nokia 5 and I have been unable to do so. I bought it here in New Hampshire . Is it possible it was defective? I do not have iCloud set up and I havent backed up my phone to my laptop. What should I do?
