Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can share your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android device.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Launch iTunes on the computer and click the iPhone
- Access Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With and sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing one
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once done, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same Google account used in iTunes
- Set the account to sync contacts with the Android device
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If the contacts on your iPhone are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android device.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Log in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and click Settings > Export vCard
- Once the vCard is exported, perform one of the following steps:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via Contacts, or:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a compute with Internet access, alternatively you can share y our iPhone using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can be used to share iPhone contacts via email.
- Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone from the App Store
- Launch the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Use the app to send the vCard to your own email address
- On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
- Import the vCard to your phonebook via Contacts
Via Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring access to a computer.
- Go to the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Install the same app on the Android device via the Play Store
- Open the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, select the contacts you want to send
- Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
