Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer, you can sync your iPhone contacts using third-party apps, then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android device.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the computer
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and access “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  5. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  6. Once completed, switch to the Android device and log in with the same account used in iTunes
  7. Set the account to sync contacts with the Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from an iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Log in with your iCloud account
  4. Go to “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts
  6. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  7. Once the vCard is exported, perform one of the following steps:
    • Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import the vCard to your phonebook via “Contacts” or:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can be used to back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and create a vCard of y our iPhone contacts
  3. Compose an email and make sure the vCard is attached
  4. Send the vCard attachment to your own email address
  5. On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring access to a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
  2. Access the Play Store and install the app on the Android device
  3. Open the app on both phones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  5. Then tap “Send” and select a transfer method on one of the phones
  6. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
