Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access in order to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data and contacts with the Android device.
- Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
- Open iTunes on the computer
- Click the iPhone in iTunes and go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With
- Log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once the sync is done, switch to the Android device and log in with the same account used in iTunes
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
- Log in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the desired contact and click Settings > Export vCard
- Once the vCard is exported, follow one of the steps below:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import the vCard to your phonebook via Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts via third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can be used to back up and share iPhone contact via email.
- Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone via the App Store
- Launch the app and create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Compose a new email ensuring the vCard is attached
- Send the vCard to your own email address
- On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Import the vCard to your phonebook via Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring computer access.
- Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone via the App Store
- Go to the Play Store and install the same app on the Android phone
- Open the app on both phones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts and select the desired contacts
- Tap Send and select a transfer method on one of the phones
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
