Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data and contacts with the phone.
- Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
- Open iTunes on the computer
- Click the iPhone in iTunes and go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With and log in with your Google account, or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to begin the sync
- Once done, switch to the Android phone and sign in with the same account
- Set the account to sync contacts with the Android device
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account you can sign in with your account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Head down to https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts and select the contacts you want to share
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- Once done, perform one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use Contacts to import it to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: The methods above require a computer connected to the Internet but you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to share contacts via email.
- Go to the App Store and install the app on the iPhone
- Open the app and create a vCard containing your contacts
- Write an email and attach the vCard
- Send the vCard to your own address
- On the Android device, open the email and download the vCard
- Use the Contacts app to import the vCard to your phonebook
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring access to a computer.
- Install Send Anywhere eon the iPhone from the App Store
- Install the app on the Android device from the Play Store
- Open the app on both devices
- Tap Send on the iPhone and select the desired contacts
- Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the prompts
