Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android phone.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  2. Launch iTunes on the PC and go to “Info”
  3. Enable “Sync Contacts With”
  4. Log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  5. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  6. Once done, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
  7. Set the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: Using a computer with Internet access you can share your iPhone contacts from your iCloud account in vCard format for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Go to “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. Follow one of the steps below:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook via Google Contacts, or:
    • Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use the Contacts app to import the vCard to your phonebook

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to back up and share contacts via email.

  1. Install the app on the phone from the App Store
  2. Launch the app
  3. Create a vCard file of your iPhone contacts
  4. Compose an email ensuring the vCard is attached
  5. Send the vCard to your own email address
  6. Switch to the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
  7. Import the vCard to your phonebook using the Contacts app

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere for Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other types of files, cross-platform, without requiring access to a computer.

  1. Install the app on both phones from their app stores
  2. Open the app on both devices
  3. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contacts and a transfer method on one of the phones
  5. Follow the prompts to complete the transfer
