    Is there anyway to upgrade the 7210'a firmware so it becomes capable of receiving multimedia messeges with sound?

    you'll have to ask your nokia service center for this one but i think there is a FW with this feature available.

    It really depends on your provider, I have a 7210 with AT&T and it does MMS and Midi messages.

    is there any possibility to receive mms with mid files in 6610? i tried to send it from my operator's website (poland, IDEA). there is a mms gateway and there is possibility to attach mid files up to 30kb. but when i received message, phone couldn't play it. it said that bad format (i converted that mid with software from pc suite to 4 voices).

    dun think nokia phones are capable of receiving sound mms.. sad thing... but it has it's user friendliness in return.. dun thini newer versions would help much

    Here in Italy you must call your provider to recive a configuring sms.
    After it you can receive mms

    the thing here is to receive mms with sound... gd 88 is compatible of that...

    i think u can attach sounds and pictures into the mms. my phone is able to do that. i also can receive sounds in mms.
