SIM Card Error on Nokia 6100

Hi,

my Girlfriend has a Nokia 6100. Sometimes on her phone came the error-message "Insert SIM card", but the SIM card is already in the phone.

A view minutes later it works (withou switching off the phone).

Anyone knows this Problem?

I have also a 6100. On my Phone I have not these Problems.

check your nearest dealer, this could be a SW problem. He can give you a sw updated

The sad thing is that this is a problem on a lot of Nokias and sometimes the firmware updates don't even help.

First just clean the contacts between sim-card and the phone. That helps very often.

i had the same problem with my 7250i but took it back to shop and they rebooted it..now it works fine
