Transfer Audio Files from a Computer:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
- Enable Media device / File Transfer at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the desired audio files
- Copy the desired files from the computer and transfer them to the phone storage, preferably in the Media directory
- After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch Settings
- Scroll to Device
- Tap Sound & Notification
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
- Optionally, enable or disable Also vibrate for calls
Change a Contacts Specific Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cant be assigned for contacts located on the internal memory or the SIM card.
- Open Contacts
- Tap and hold the contact you want to edit
- Tap Edit > Menu > Set ringtone
- Select the ringtone you want to use
- Tap OK
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Open Settings
- Scroll to Device
- Tap Sound & Notification
- Tap Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired notification ringtone
- Tap OK to confirm
