How-to: Panasonic Eluga I9: Transfer Audio Files From a PC and Set Custom Ringtones & Notifications

Transfer Audio Files from a Computer:

1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
4. Locate the desired audio files
5. Copy the desired files from the computer and transfer them to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
6. After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

1. Launch “Settings”
2. Scroll to “Device”
3. Tap “Sound & Notification”
4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
5. Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”

Change a Contact’s Specific Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be assigned for contacts located on the internal memory or the SIM card.

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Tap and hold the contact you want to edit
3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
4. Select the ringtone you want to use
5. Tap “OK”

Change the Notification Alert Sound:

1. Open “Settings”
2. Scroll to “Device”
3. Tap “Sound & Notification”
4. Tap “Default notification ringtone”
5. Select the desired notification ringtone
6. Tap “OK” to confirm
