Just got my blackberry and need help

well i just bought my blackberry online and received it today when i turned it on it asks for a password. Does anyone know how to reset the password??

what do you mean it asks for a password? 1st off, the device when its fully "new" it does not ask for a password. you turn on the device, it takes quite some time to load up and once it does it takes you through a tutorial. In it you can set up a password if you want your device to be more secure. But if you didnt add a password then the phone shouldnt not prompt you to enter one.

Are you able to access the phone features? like the menus, make calls, etc... Was the phone new? and lastly, what model is it?
