News: Vodafone UK launches the BlackBerry Bold 9900 four days early

UK customers who have been waiting for August 16 to arrive for the BlackBerry Bold 9900, your wait has come to an end. Vodafone UK has launched the BlackBerry Bold 9900 as of yesterday, August 12th and is free on a 24 month plan with £41 per month.

Although Vodafone UK has first dibs on the BlackBerry Bold 9900, O2 and Orange is expected to launch the device withing the next few weeks. Vodafone UK customers can visit Vodafone's site to order their Bold 9900now.

Features of the BlackBerry Bold 9900 include: a 2.8 inch VGA touchscreen display, HSPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC capabilities, 5MP autofocus camera, 720p video recording, 768MB of RAM, 1.2GHz single-core processor, 8GB of on-board memory and is 105mm thick.
