Creating Playlists and Organizing Your Music
Making a Playlist
1. From the Playlist screen, tap Create.
2. Tap the plus sign located next to the songs, artists and albums that youd like to add.
3. Then tap the Checked icon.
Editing or Renaming a Playlist
1. Go to the desired playlist and tap Edit.
2. Youll then have the following options:
if youd like to change the name of the playlist, tap its current name.
to add a new song to the playlist, tap the Add icon -> tap the plus sign located besides the song, artists and albums that youd like to add to the playlist.
if you want to delete a song, tap the Remove icon.
if youd like to change the order of a song, then tap and drag the desired song to the location where youd like to place it.
3. When youre done, tap the Checked icon.
Tips for Music
For controlling your music faster and easier while in the Music app, follow the next tips:
To skip between songs, you have to turn on the Music Shortcuts.
1. For from the Home screen, swipe down and tap Settings -> tap System Volume -> set Music Shortcuts to ON. Then, to skip songs, tap the Volume Up and Volume Down keys.
2. Control the volume of the song youre listening to by using the volume slider. In case you cant see the volume slider, then tap the Now Playing screen and tap the cover art of the album.
3. If you want to add a song thats currently playing to a playlist, then from the Now Playing screen, tap the Menu icon and then tap the Add to Playlist icon.
Changing Your Ringtone, Sounds or Alerts
1. From the Home screen, swipe down.
2. Then tap Settings -> tap Notifications.
3. If you want to change the global notifications settings you can change the Sound, Vibrate, LED and Volume settings.
4. If youd like to change the notification settings for just one app in particular, go to the Notifications/Alerts sections, tap the desired app and change the desired settings.
Setting a Custom Ringtone for a Contact
1. Open your Contacts app and select the one that youd like to edit.
2. Then tap the Edit icon and change the Phone Ringtone from the drop-down list.
3. When done, tap Save.
Setting a Picture as Your Wallpaper
1. Open the desired picture.
2. Then tap the Menu icon -> select Set As -> tap Wallpaper.
Tip: You can also zoom into your picture, in which case the zoomed in part of the picture will be set as wallpaper.
Changing the Font Size
1. From the Home screen, swipe down.
2. Then tap Settings -> select Display.
3. From the Font Size drop-down list, select the size youre most comfortable with.
Change Your Display Language
1. From the Home screen, swipe down.
2. Then tap Settings -> select Language and Input.
3. From the Language drop-down list, select the one that youd like to use.
